Is MonitorPhones legal?
It is absolutely legal to set up and use the MonitorPhones app on gadgets, which you are the owner of or which belong to your kids under full age. We do not approve the use of the MonitorPhones products for any illegal goals including but not limited to monitoring mobile phones and tablets without notice or permission of people, who own them.
Is the MonitorPhones app stealth? Can it be revealed on the tracked device?

MonitorPhones is visible on the tracked gadget. It means a user can see its icon on the tracked device screen. There also may be notifications, alerts, and other badges that reveal the app operation.

However, if you decide to use iCloud solution to monitor iOS devices, you will not need to set up the application on the tracked gadget and thus, MonitorPhones tracking will remain stealth.

Where can I monitor the data from the target device?
Right after the MonitorPhones app is set up and connected to the server, the data from the tracked device will be uploaded directly to your personal Control Panel.
Is jailbreaking or rooting the target device required to install the app?

iOS: The application can be used to track mobile devices both with and without jailbreak. To monitor devices with no jailbreak, you can try iCloud solution that is provided with our Premium subscription. In another case, the tracked device must be jailbroken. Please take notice that tracking of iOS devices without jailbreak is for now limited to the following monitoring functions: Calls, Text Messages, Location, Bookmarks, Browsing History, Calendar, Photos, Contacts, Notes, Skype, and WhatsApp.

Android: The tracked device needs rooting to get access to such activities: Emails and Social Networks.

Do I need physical access to the tracked devices? Can I install the application remotely?
Physical access is needed to set up the application on the tracked device. At the same time, provided with Premium subscription iCloud solution does not need physical access or jailbreak.
How to set up MonitorPhones?
The installation process is very fast and easy. It takes you less than 5 minutes to complete. As soon as you have purchased a plan, you should follow the guide from your subscription email to install the app. Please take notice that physical access to the tracked gadget is needed (unless you use iCloud solution for tracking iOS smartphones and tablets). In case of any difficulties, do not hesitate to turn to our Customer Care Team for assistance.
How to uninstall MonitorPhones?

To uninstall the app on iOS, enter the Cydia application. Then go to Manage and proceed to Sources. Tap on apps.monitorphones.com (Developer’s Repo) and procced as follows: Updated > Modify > Uninstall > Uninstall will be finished > Go to the Cydia app one more time and procced as follows: Manage > Sources > Edit. Then tap on “Remove” near the Developer’s Repo.

To uninstall the app on Android, enter Phone, go to Settings and proceed as follows: Security > Device administrators. Remove a check mark from the box near the application. Then go to Settings again. Enter Apps, go to MonitorPhones and press Uninstall.

To uninstall MonitorPhones from inside, open the app, type your secret password to enter the Settings menu and tap the “Delete” button.

Can I set up/uninstall the app remotely?

Both the setup and deletion of the MonitorPhones application can be done manually (unless you use iCloud solution for tracking iOS gadgets, which does not need setup at all). Please ensure your physical access to the tracked device before buying a subscription plan.

Take notice: if you choose iCloud solution, you do not need to set up the application on the tracked gadget at all. Moreover, no physical access to the device is needed – all the information is gathered via iCloud backup.

In this instance, iCloud login and password of the tracked device is a must to get it connected to your personal Control Panel.

How to update MonitorPhones?

iOS: The app gets updated automatically.

Android: Rooted devices get updated automatically. Other Androids should be updated in two possible ways:

1) By tapping “Update” button in the application on the tracked device.

2) By following a guide in your Control Panel.

How often does the data get updated?
The update frequency depends on every particular feature. At average, the data gets updated each 20 minutes at least.
Is it possible to add more mobile devices to Control Panel or I will have to get new account for every new device?
MonitorPhones.com Control Panel is very flexible. It allows you to add as many devices to monitor as you wish. However, please take notice that only one device can be assigned to one specific MonitorPhones monitoring plan.
Can I switch my subscription to another device?
Unfortunately, it is impossible. Only one tracked device with a purchased subscription plan can run the application.
How to jailbreak iOS?

During the set up, links to off-site sources will be provided to you. There you will find guidelines on jailbreaking iOS devices. MonitorPhones.com is not connected with any of the provided sources. Do not hesitate to find any relevant information on how to jailbreak iOS on the Internet on your own as well.

If you don’t want to jailbreak the tracked iOS device, you can try MonitorPhones iCloud solution provided with Premium subscription.

Are there any daily limits? How to find out if I have reached a limit on my subscription?

MonitorPhones has no specific limits per day. There are only some limits in Basic subscription, which allow monitoring up to 700 calls and 300 SMS each month. Note that you can reach one of these limits much earlier.

If you see that the information in your Control Panel is not updating, it may signal that you have reached the limit. Contact our Customer Care to find out for sure. In this case, you can either buy a similar Basic subscription, upgrade your subscription to Premium, or order unlimited calls or SMS option in your current Basic plan.

Which devices support MonitorPhones?
MonitorPhones is supported by most of iOS and Android smartphones and tablets. Please visit MonitorPhones Compatibility page to make sure that your tracked device is compatible with the app. You can also contact our Customer Care.
Does jailbreak void my warranty? Can I delete jailbreak from the tracked iOS device to restore it?
Jailbreak will void your iOS warranty. However, it can be restored easily. Update the tracked device to the latest iOS version. Alternatively, restore it to primary settings. Please take notice that in this case MonitorPhones app will not work.
Is jailbreak visible when connected to iCloud or iTunes?
No, it is not. You will be able to use iCloud and iTunes in a regular mode even after you jailbreak the iOS device you track.
How to root Android?

During the set up, links to off-site sources will be provided to you. There you will find guidelines on rooting Android devices. MonitorPhones.com is not connected with any of the provided sources. Do not hesitate to find any relevant information on how to root Android on the Internet on your own as well.

Note that rooting Android devices is not a must to run MonitorPhones. However, you should root the tracked device if you want to get full access to all the MonitorPhones functions.

Can the Android warranty be voided by rooting the target gadget?
Note that if you root the Android device, it may at the same time void your warranty. A decision to use rooting or not should be made at your own risk.
How to stop my MonitorPhones subscription and/or delete an account?
To stop your subscription for MonitorPhones and/or delete your personal account, please contact our Customer Care.
Is the application attached to a mobile carrier, a SIM card, or the tracked device itself?
The application is attached to the tracked device only. It will still work, even if you change a mobile carrier or change your SIM card to another one.
Does the app need online connection to function at full efficiency?
The application itself does not need online connection for tracking. However, to transfer the collected information right to your Control Panel, the tracked device requires the Internet. As a rule, EDGE/3G is enough. However, the tracked device will require Wi-Fi connection to transfer multimedia files.
What payment methods are available?

How to block inbound calls?
In order to block inbound calls from some specific phone numbers, you should add this numbers to a Block list under your Settings tab. The app will block all attempts to reach the tracked cell phone automatically; meanwhile a caller will hear busy tones only.
Where can I view the data on the tracked user’s SMS and calls?
All the data from the tracked device including SMS and calls is contained in your Control Panel under relevant tabs. Navigate through your Control Panel to find required information.
How can I delete data from my Control Panel?

Enter “Device Settings” section in your Control Panel and click “Unassign Device” below on the right.

Please take notice that this action can’t be undone. Your subscription will be disabled, and you will not be able to use it with any other device any longer. All the data will be deleted from your Control Panel immediately and permanently.
